I was planning on purchasing a duck boat something smaller for up rivers and creeks and found this one for sale in the area. It's 2008 15 ft long custom built boat out of Tennessee made of wood/glass and resin bonded. It was just carpeted, painted, and had flotation pods installed. The guy is down to $1500 for the rig. I have no idea about these boats because I have only used skiffs and aluminum boats for duck hunting. Please give me some input or reviews about these low profile style boats. Are they stable, maintenance, what kind of water to use them in, maybe some blind ideas, etc! Thanks

I've seen this design before on Duckhuntingchat.com forum.  A bunch of folks over there shared design ideas and have some really good builds.  You might want to search it out.  Some of these custom layout boats have fallen apart or rotted due to improper build.

Not saying this is the case here. Just suggesting to check it out real good.  If I come across the thread I'll post it up here for ya.

Troy
