I am looking to buy a female Golden Retriever puppy. If not both, I would like one parent to have hunting experience. I can be reached by text at 3379901787. Thanks, Chris

www.gundogbreeders.com can give you a good place to start. Goldens with a good hunting line can be a bit harder to find, and a bit pricey as well. Good luck. Keep us posted!

Thanks! Yes I know they can be hard to find. I have a 2 year old male that has turned out to be one hell of a hunting dog. Only one of his parents was a hunter but he had tons of drive and turned out awesome.

can't help you in that price range. doesn't mean you can't find a good dog in your range. but please be sure and triple check the health certificates. eyes, hips, elbows, heart etc. very important not to perpetuate a bad line. goldens need to be better managed than they have in the past 20 years.

I couldn't agree more. Just about every one I have came across have been bred for show or house pets. I have been talking with Reaux Retrievers out of New Iberia. They have a great bloodline going there and I have reserved a puppy for a litter that they are expecting in May. Im having to up my range to $700 but I am willing to do that for a solid golden.

Well nevermind, found out we are 13th on the list and I don't want last pick of a litter. So the search continues!
